Core5 Industrial Partners Announces 1.1 MSF Building in Southwest Atlanta

Atlanta-based Core5 Industrial Partners has closed on a 109-acre, fully entitled industrial site at Exit 51 in the I-85/Southwest Atlanta submarket. Core5 will immediately break ground on the development of Southwest 85 Logistics Center, a 1.1 million-square-foot state-of-the-art facility, which is expandable to 1.3 million square feet and has all the attributes of an e-commerce fulfillment center. Duracell Powers One of the Priciest Deals Ever for an Atlanta Warehouse

The Atlanta-based industrial developer sold its Core5 Logistics Center at Shugart Farms for $62M to an undisclosed buyer. At that price, the 874K SF warehouse not only is the highest price paid so far this year for an industrial property, it is also the fourth-highest price ever paid in Metro Atlanta for one, according to CoStar data.
